Fri, Jul. 20th, 2018 23:36The drill whenever they land in a new city is to get housing for everyone. They mix it up as much as possible, either all going solo or trading off partners so they try not to be noticed in the same group all the time. Tactics, really.
But Sam always makes sure his place has a spare room. It became a habit, when he came back from the war. He just always wanted to have a place for someone who needed to crash to do so comfortably. Friends from the VA, whatever. Which had come in real damn handy when Natasha and Steve were on the run, so he stayed in the habit.
And now he's invited Bucky over, despite a load of protesting on both sides and a lot of arguing about how much they don't like each other. It's their Thing, by now.
At least wherever they land, the local grocery store usually has beer and some form of chips or crisps or whatever, so he's got that on hand. Plus stuff to make actual food, because cooking is a safe place. It's relaxing.
Now he just has to wait for Barnes to show up.
